Workflow Queues within blockit are areas in which referral tasks that are made by a sending EMR can be managed by one or multiple users to schedule into a receiving practice. WorkQs provide real time statuses of referral appointments, allow for referral organization, and significantly improves the patient referral scheduling process.

Figure 1. View of a typical workQ task list
Workflow Queues (workQ's) are separated in the left sidebar under 'Subscribed' and 'Unsubscribed' sections. To keep track of tasks and appointments relevant to the user, select the desired queue to watch and click 🔔 Subscribe.
Below the queue name, the user will find the rules for that queue. In the example above, there is a 'Scheduling Queue' in which referrals land and are pushed to a 'Follow Up' queue to allow the user to follow up with patients that could not be scheduled at the time of care. Other examples of workflow queue are shown as well to display different options for workable task lists.
Feature Options
Claim & Schedule Tasks
When a referral is sent to an external workQ, the receiving organization can claim the task and schedule the referral as needed.
Filters
Filtering allows the user to filter appointments based on a variety of statuses, first and last name, dates, and other filters. Example - when the user selects 'Patient' in 'Other Filters,' the user is able to type in a patient name to filter. Similarly, by clicking the 'Assigned To' filter, the user can select a drop down of users within the organization.
WorkQ Forwarding
WorkQ forwarding allows the user to send the referral task to another queue within the same organization or to a linked workQ in a different organization.
Patient Information
Figure 2. Patient details with hover feature
Within the referral task, the user will see the patient name. Below the patient name are task referral details which are configurable in blockit admin settings. When hovering over the patient name, patient demographic information becomes visible. When hovering over the days when the task landed in the workQ, a date and time stamp will display.
Expand patient info with Ellipsis and Info Drawer:

Export to .csv
Figure 6. Export .csv can be found at the top of the queue
Located in the filter, trigger, and subscribe section at the top of the workQ, exporting to .csv allows the user export all of the referrals in a particular queue to a CSV, which includes the referral statuses.
In the workQ .csv and referral .csv, the workQ statuses can be found with the following four options:
READY - The referral task is in the scheduling / workable queue and ready to be actioned.
IN PROGRESS - The referral task has been claimed/accepted by the scheduler and the referral is being actioned by the scheduler; the referral is in the process of being booked or pushed to another queue.
FINISHED - The scheduler that was working the referral has selected the 'Finish' button to indicate the referral is completed.
EXPIRED - The referral task has expired out of the given queue.
