Summary:
This article discusses how to adjust appointment availability and set out of office dates within a provider profile.
Steps:
1. Once on the Blockit homepage, click to switch to the admin portal tab and then click on the desired profile. Select "Schedule & Visit Types" to view the availability screen. You will see a weekly calendar with a time frame of 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
2. To adjust a profile’s availability, click on the blue ”Add Schedule Availability" button.
3. The user has the option to select a provider's start and end time per day on this screen.
4. Once you enter your availability for the week, the schedule will not change unless the user adjusts it. To select days when the provider will be out of the office, click the plus mark on the “Out of Office” section on the right hand side of the screen under "Visit Types" and select when the provider will be unavailable. Please note that no availability will show on that day if "Out of Office" is selected.
Update:
Native (non-integrated) organizations did not previously have the ability to block certain times out of their schedule, rather, had to input a range of time availability or an out of office date. This functionality is available via a feature flag. Once enabled, this can be configured in the profiles tab > Schedule & Visit Types section of the profile. This feature allows for greater versatility in native provider profile’s scheduling workflow.
