You will need the following data to complete this task:
- Physician name
- List of accepted insurances
Blockit allows each provider to display the insurance providers they accept, and we’ve made it simple for users to add and modify their choices.
Once you’ve logged onto the homepage, you’ll want to switch from the “referral portal” to the “admin portal” by clicking the admin portal tab.
From there, you can click on “profiles” to view a list of physicians within your organization. Find the profile of the physician you want to modify and click on their name.
Within the profile view you will notice a menu located on the left-hand side. You will want to select 'Insurance Management'. This is where you will see two columns. The column to the left is a list of all available insurances to select from. The column to the right will be your list of accepted insurances that has been assigned to your Blockit profile.
To add an insurance carrier, click on the payer’s name from the left column to automatically move it to the right one. If you’d like to remove a payer for whatever reason, just click the name in the right column to delete it. Once you finish, your accepted insurances will be made visible to patients and other physicians who view your profile.
